Born in 1982, Amsted is a self-taught artist from Aix-en-Provence. With 20 years of experience in psychiatric settings, she has developed a unique and committed approach, aimed at raising awareness of the experience of people with disabilities.
Her lines instinctively adapt to the surfaces she paints, just as she adapts to those around her, whether patients or family.
As an art therapist, she was able to observe how much nature is an essential resource for human balance. Through its graphic representations, it instills a new look, an attention on the world around us.
From her first artistic features, Amsted’s graphic writing allowed her to give birth to a sinuous shape that would become her favorite motif in all her compositions: the curve.
